With the addition of the Pearce Collection to
the holdings already in place here, we are
presented with an opportunity to build com-
munity and provide educational resources for
a wide range of people.

If resources become available, we hope to
build a connecting multi purpose structure
that will allow us to hold metalworking semi-
nars for up to 12 people at one time. At other
times, the same space could be used for resto-
ration of antique engines or tractors.

The grist mills will finally have a place to be
seen as a group and restored.

Relocating the equipment from the existing
west forge area will make it suitable for use
as a small scale foundry if there is interest to
warrant it.

The existing machine shop, metal shop,
relocated mill house and corn crib will con-
tinue to serve their respective functions, but
in an arrangement more convenient to the
group work spaces.
